Both of my favorite Christmas pastimes involve Christmas music (no wonder I catch myself humming Christmas music all the time ? ) One being when I was a kid, we had two cassette tapes of Christmas music. My sisters and I would bake Christmas cookies with my dad and inevitably end up singing along to the tapes. The other one is going to my grandparents’ house and one of my aunts would play carols on the piano and the whole family would all sing along. My dad came from a family of 11 kids so we had quite the choir!

  96. Susan Stoltz December 4, 2018 at 1:46 pm

I grew up on a farm with 15 siblings. We had to wait on Christmas Eve until the boys were done with the farm chores. Then the whole family would gather, my brother-in-law would play Santa. On Christmas day everyone gathered again for the big Christmas dinner. We had to eat in shifts as there was so many of us. Memories I cherish everyday.
