Financial Philosophy

Investing in your care

Rewriting the Rules of Financial Conversations

Dental care shouldn’t come with fine print. At Glaser Dental, we’ve built a different kind of financial relationship with our patients — one based on clarity, not contracts. Maintain your health while protecting your budget. That’s the whole idea.

What We Are Now

Glaser Dental is a fee-for-service, non-contracted practice. That means we don’t sign agreements with insurance companies that dictate our fees, our appointment times, or which treatments we can recommend. Instead, we work directly with our patients — a relationship built on trust and transparency, not a fee schedule negotiated by someone who’s never met you.

To be clear: this doesn’t mean we don’t work with insurance. We still submit claims on your behalf and help you use your out-of-network benefits wherever they apply. It simply means insurance is no longer in the driver’s seat. Your care comes first, and your coverage is one part of the financial picture — not the whole thing.

Our guiding rule is simple: WIDIOM — Would I Do It On Myself. Dr. Glaser owns this practice, and he builds every treatment plan the way he’d want it built for his own family. If we wouldn’t recommend it to someone we love, we don’t do it here. That’s not a slogan — it’s the basis of every dental decision we make, and it’s often what saves patients the most money: we don’t treat what doesn’t need treating.

Your Time & Your Investment

Restorative treatment is rarely a single decision — it’s a plan. And a good plan takes two things seriously: your time and your investment.

We take the time to walk through both with you before any treatment begins. That means talking honestly about how a case can be phased — what needs to happen now, what can wait, and how to sequence care in a way that fits your health needs and your budget. It also means being upfront about cost from the start, so you’re never caught off guard mid-treatment.

This is what unhurried planning looks like: no rushed decisions, no pressure to do everything at once, and a clear picture of what each phase involves before you commit to it.

If you value this approach, we invite you to experience it firsthand. Call us at 715-359-4344 or email smile@tylerglaserdental.com.

Financial Clarity & Direct Pricing

You should never have to guess what something costs — or wonder if the price you were quoted has anything to do with the care you’re actually getting. Because we’re not bound to an insurance fee schedule, our pricing reflects the actual time, materials, and expertise that go into your treatment. Nothing more, nothing hidden.

Before any treatment begins, you’ll know:

  • What it costs, in plain terms
  • What your options are, including how a treatment plan can be phased over time
  • What financial resources are available to you — from insurance reimbursement to our in-house Wellness Plans to flexible financing

That’s financial clarity: not a promise that everything is free, but a promise that nothing is a surprise.

Simple bills, single totals, easy to plan for — the way we’d want it given to us. We hate surprise bills as much as you do. Ask our treatment plan coordinator if your procedure is one we offer all-inclusive pricing for.

The vendors we partner with and the materials we use matter. Our clinical work is built on the best components—because lasting results start with what goes into your care and the skill behind it.

Ways to pay, when the time comes:

  • Cash, major credit cards, Apple Pay, online payments, and check
  • Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) — we’re happy to help you put these to use
  • Cherry financing
  • CareCredit — interest-free financing on qualifying purchases over $200, for up to 36 months*

No Insurance? No Problem.

If you don’t have dental insurance, or your plan doesn’t cover much, you’re not out of options here. Our Wellness Plans were built for exactly this—flat, predictable annual pricing that covers preventive care and gives you a discount on further treatment, without an insurance company in the equation. Choose from three plans built around where your oral health is today:

No predeterminations, annual maximums, deductibles, exclusions, or waiting periods — and members also receive a discount on all other dental procedures.

And for larger treatment, flexible payment plans mean a bigger case doesn’t have to mean a bigger financial decision all at once. Between a Wellness Plan and financing, most patients find a path that works — insurance or not.

Does “fee-for-service” mean you don’t take insurance at all?2026-08-14T14:10:00-05:00

No.

We’re simply not contracted with insurance networks, so we don’t accept their pre-negotiated fee schedules. We still accept most major insurance plans on an out-of-network basis and will help you file claims and use your benefits.

Why did Glaser Dental move to this model?2026-08-14T14:09:00-05:00

Insurance contracts often push practices toward shorter appointments and higher patient volume just to stay profitable under a discounted fee schedule. Moving to a direct relationship with our patients has let us return to practicing the way we were trained—with the time each patient’s care actually needs.

Will this cost me more than an in-network office?2026-08-14T14:07:34-05:00

Not necessarily.

Many patients find that, between out-of-network reimbursement, our Wellness Plans, and flexible financing, the total cost is comparable—but the appointment experience isn’t.

What if I need a large treatment plan, like implants or a full restorative case?2026-08-14T14:06:17-05:00

This is exactly where phasing and planning matter most. We’ll walk through your treatment in phases, give you direct pricing at each stage, and talk through financing options so the investment fits your timeline and your budget.

Do I have to choose between my Wellness Plan discount and financing?2026-08-14T14:05:25-05:00

They work independently, so we’ll help you figure out which one — or which combination of resources — makes the most sense for your specific treatment.
